Last week, Skyland Trail hosted a ceremony for two major accomplishments: the grand opening of its Wellness Clinic and completing its $18 million Changing Minds campaign, which will fund a new young adult campus.
The nationally recognized nonprofit’s new clinic will be Atlanta’s first to offer integrated medical care for adults with a diagnosed mental illness. Part of the ceremony included distributing sunflower seeds, which serve as a symbol of light and hope for 350 million people worldwide living with depression.
Atlanta firms New South Construction and HGOR are working on the new campus.
