If you have ever happily skipped long lines at customs with Global Entry, you know it’s worth the cost of membership. That price is just about to increase, however.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced that as of Oct. 1, the fee will increase from $100 to $120 for a five-year membership.
However, with the price hike comes good news for families. Children under 18 still have to go through an approval process to qualify for Global Entry; however, if their parent or legal guardian is a member, there is no longer an additional fee for the child.
