Dynamic sports and entertainment district planned for Centennial Yards

by The 100 Companies

Centennial Yards has revealed ambitious plans for a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment district across from Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. According to a press release by Gensler, the architecture and design firm for the development, the district will anchor east and west Atlanta with 470,000 square feet of entertainment, retail and restaurant space.

Plans include an immersive three-story “eatertainment” concept; a four-story single-tenant venue; a two-story food, beverage and retail space; and a 14-story hotel, as well as a fan gathering plaza. Plans are to have two-thirds of the Centennials Yards project completed by the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
