Urban ministry is tough work as neighborhoods face concentrated poverty and unsafe streets. Desire Street Ministries partners with inner-city ministries in Atlanta and the Southeast to support them as they transform neighborhoods into flourishing communities.
Danny Wuerffel, former NFL Europa MVP, University of Florida quarterback, Heisman winner and College Football Hall of Fame inductee, leads Desire Street. After the NFL, he followed his heart to support inner-city ministers who would have burned out without support.
