Chamblee launches new open container rule

by The 100 Companies

Chamblee is the latest city to have an open container policy in effect in its downtown entertainment district. Launched earlier this summer, city officials shared it’s part of an increased effort to promote social activities and pedestrian traffic.

With 15 Chamblee restaurants and bars included in the entertainment district, from BlueTop Restaurant and Hopstix to Yuzu Sushi and Pig-N-Chik BBQ, patrons should be aware there are still strict rules in place. Consumption is allowed in the area between 9AM and 10PM, and drinks must be in a clear plastic container with the establishment’s logo and a sticker from the city.
