Affordable housing by T.I. arrives in Grove Park

by The 100 Companies

Following several years of planning and construction, an affordable housing complex by Atlanta rapper T.I. has officially arrived in the Westside. The Intrada Westside apartments replaced the former Kmart and Giant Food in an abandoned shopping center with 143 affordable housing units between the Center Hill neighborhood and Bankhead.

These units are part of the Buy Back the Block initiative, which started in 2017 in conjunction with the city and Dynasty Real Estate Development. T.I. explained that he wants to provide a platform to allow Center Hill residents to become homeowners and stay in the community they love.
