Where to view the solar eclipse in Atlanta

by The 100 Companies

The next solar eclipse will occur on Monday, April 8. While Atlantans won’t experience a total eclipse, a partial solar eclipse will start at 1:45PM, with maximum coverage happening at 3:04PM. And Atlanta has several events taking place to view the phenomenon!

Select Cobb County libraries, including the West Cobb Regional Library (Kennesaw), South Cobb Regional Library (Mableton) and Switzer Library (Marietta), will hold viewing parties.

Eclipse Fest at Fernbank Science Center will feature onsite food trucks, free activities, planetarium shows and more.

Tellus Science Museum will have its observatory open for guests to see the eclipse using a solar telescope.
