Construction on BeltLine’s latest trail, ‘The Spur,’ has begun

by The 100 Companies

The BeltLine will soon offer a trail that connects downtown Atlanta with homes and businesses along West Marietta Street. Named the Westside Paper Spur Trail, the path will branch north from the Westside BeltLine Connector and span .73 of a mile.

The project is considered a collaborative effort between the City of Atlanta, the Upper Westside Community Improvement District and the PATH Foundation. On its south end, the trail will pass directly next to the Puritan Mill district and the new mixed-use Westside Paper district before ending near King Plow Arts Center.

The Spur is expected to open in May 2025.
