In my 20s, I was blessed with the chance to take a culinary pilgrimage throughout Asia, sampling fresh bulgogi beef in Seoul and crispy Peking duck in Beijing.
So, imagine my surprise when each of the seven dishes I tried at Hawkers was just as delectable as the one I had in its home country. The exquisitely seasoned beef in Po Po Lo’s curry will melt in your mouth, the warm curry laksa ramen pops with flavor and I can vigorously recommend the Roast Duck Bao as a starter.
Hawkers’ location off the BeltLine near Krog Street just recently reopened.
