After performing together for nearly a decade after forming in college, the sketch comedy troupe Broken Lizard released its first feature length film in 2001. Titled Super Troopers, the hilarious tale of the Vermont State Troopers quickly grew a cult following.
After a few box office disappointments since, the old gang is getting back together, but this time they are turning to their fans instead of Hollywood execs.
Needing just $2 million for a bare bones sequel but already having raised $3 million in a week, Super Troopers 2 will definitely be bigger, and possibly better, than the first.
