Spring is festival time in Georgia and in Macon that means it’s time for the 28th Annual Pan African Festival at the Tubman African American Museum April 27-28. Now in its 28th year, the Pan African Festival celebrates the influences of Africa around the world.
Art from regional artists will be displayed and available for purchase, along with a children’s village and foods from around the world. Musical entertainment includes the band Brick and Chandra Currelley. Sunday is Praise Day and features gospel singer Vickie Winans.
The festival is free and the opening ceremony is Saturday, April 27 at noon.
