Emory Village takes pride in its walkability. Of course, walkability is only useful when there are places worth the trip. I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a better walking destination than a wine store.
Sherlock’s recently gained approval to purchase and renovate a 65-year-old, 2,000-square-foot Chevron station in Emory village into a wine store and restaurant.
Cynthia Tauxe, chair of the zoning committee for Emory Village Alliance, says the nonprofit community organization is excited for the change: “The renovation plans will preserve the original structure, and it could encourage others in the area to also redevelop.”
