Treadmills are my worst nightmare. I get dizzy, tired and bored. So when I first heard about BLAST, I was terrified. Thirty minutes on treadmills and thirty minutes of weights? No thank you! But friends convinced me to go, and now I’m hooked.
Instructors encourage you to take it at your own pace. They give suggested speeds and inclines for runners, joggers and walkers. We switched from treadmills to the floor every 5-10 minutes. The weights section kept me sore for days – a sure sign of a great workout.
Although it sounds scary, it’s incredibly fun and effective. Grade: A+.
