After an intense runoff election between Andre Dickens and Felicia Moore on Nov. 30, Dickens replaced Keisha Lance Bottoms as Atlanta’s newest mayor. With big changes in mind, Dickens said Atlantans can expect a “clean and well-run city” under his leadership.
Atlanta’s mayoral position wasn’t the only spot that was up for grabs in this recent election. Atlanta’s City Council now has 16 new faces, including City Council President Doug Shipman, while Atlanta’s new Board of Education has refilled its 9 seats.
