I recently went on a golf trip with several friends from work. I’ve known these folks for years – in a professional setting at first, but over time we became genuine friends.
It’s important to have friends at work. We spend so much time at the office; I find it makes the days more enjoyable to have a friend or two around to laugh with or even to grab lunch or blow off steam.
While you don’t need to be best friends with all of your coworkers, it makes work more pleasant to have someone to whom you can easily relate.
