I’ve been driving by it for months. Every time I have the same thought – man, I crave some of South City Kitchen’s fried chicken.
The Buckhead location, its third, opened this week for lunch and dinner, serving some of its signature dishes that include fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits and that delicious buttermilk fried Springer Mountain Farms chicken.
Executive chef Jason Starnes introduces a few dishes exclusive to Buckhead, such as smokey grilled pork chop with barbecued hazelnuts, and grilled quail with Carolina risotto. The “southern desserts, redefined” include banana bread brulee pudding and chocolate caramel angel pie.
