Tennis lovers, rejoice! The largest tennis center in Georgia is coming to Rome. New South Construction will break ground on the Rome Tennis Center of Georgia in June 2015. Phase one is expected to take about a year.
The $11.9 million project includes 51 USTA standard courts, including six NCAA regulation courts for collegiate and tournament play. Twelve courts will be made to accommodate youth tennis matches. A 3,846-square-foot clubhouse will be constructed with a spectator deck to take advantage of the beautiful views of surrounding scenery.
The facility will be a huge boost for the local community and economy.
