What Millennials Are Searching For

Speaking ill of a particular race or religion is taboo and disdainful, yet cutting down an entire generation isn’t just acceptable – it’s in vogue.

Millennials are labeled lazy, entitled narcissists, with TIME even calling us “stunted” for living with our parents. Don’t worry, we’ll move out once we’ve chiseled away some of our $37,172 debt in student loans.

But all this flak is coming from a misunderstanding of our priorities. Industrious Boomers chased prosperity, Xers grew skeptical, and now many Millennials pursue happiness more than money through social connection, volunteering, travel and education. We’ll work extremely hard for these.
