Students who have excelled in school or contributed to their community will be honored at the 14th annual Choose Success Awards Dinner put on by Communities In Schools Atlanta, a drop-out prevention program that has helped 28,000 students stay in school.
The event is March 15 at Flourish Atlanta with a reception at 6 and a dinner at 7. Dale Erquiaga, the National CEO of Communities In Schools, is the featured speaker.
Students from these schools will be recognized: F.L. Stanton Elementary, Brown Middle School, Jackson High School, Charles R. Drew High School and Creekside High School.
