I moved to Atlanta during the Olympics afterglow and have seen the city grow into the gleaming metropolis it is today. I love the city so much I have kept a secret bucket list, including enjoying an infamous Ghetto Burger at Ann’s Snack Bar on Memorial Drive.
Sadly, Ann Price, the owner of the establishment and creator of the burger, passed away this week at the age of 72. Price was famously known for both her burger and sass. The simple hand-made bacon cheeseburger was recognized nationwide and as far away as the Middle East. We’ll miss you, Ms. Ann!
