Paolino Italian Restaurant & Gelateria recently opened in Oakhurst and is serving up classic Italian dishes, delicious desserts and decadent gelato. Owner Shane Mixon (formerly of Saba in Emory Village) is dishing out traditional Italian staples like fettucine alfredo, linguine and clam sauce, lobster ravioli and much more. Think excellent Italian food without all the frills.
You might come for the pasta, but you have to stay for the dessert. The homemade gelato is out of this world, and no matter how full you might think you are, you can make room for this. My personal favorite? The Nutella.
