Dining on fresh sushi and black grouper at the beautiful Caretta on the Gulf restaurant was just one of the highlights of a three-day stay at Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, the first Silver LEED certified hotel in Florida.
A Champagne greeting at check-in got things off to a wonderful start, and my spacious room had a balcony overlooking an impossibly white beach, the widest I’d ever seen.
I met Winter the dolphin from “Dolphin Tale” at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, toured historic Clearwater by Segway, enjoyed a magnificent massage at The Spa and still managed some much-needed relax-by-the-pool time.
