Delta Air Lines sponsors U.S. passports for students

by The 100 Companies

Delta Air Lines is sponsoring the Free Passport Program for the six colleges and universities that comprise the Atlanta Global Research and Education Collaborative (AGREC), including Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Emory University, Agnes Scott College, Spelman College and Kennesaw State.

The $51,000 sponsorship will cover the cost of 300 U.S. passports – 50 for students at each institution – for the 2023-24 academic year.

The program helps to remove the financial burden of getting a passport, which can be a barrier for students to study abroad. Opportunities to study abroad encourage global awareness and engagement, preparing students for careers after graduation.
