The hamburger stand with a cult following has opened its first location in town in Buckhead Atlanta. Shake Shack hosted a packed preview party Monday night.
We loved the ShackBurger, a no-hormone 100 percent Angus burger that was perfectly cooked, and while I don’t often eat hot dogs, I’d go for another DogMeister, topped with marinated shallots. Desserts include shakes and design-your-own “concretes” — dense frozen custard with your choice of blend-ins.
Nods to our city include the Peachtree – a caramel peach shake – and pecan pie from H&F Bread Co. The large rooftop bar overlooking Peachtree Road is my favorite feature.
