You may have noticed Georgia Tech’s football uniforms have a new touch this year: a logo honoring the 100th anniversary of the home field of the football team, Historic Grant Field.
The Georgia Tech student body built the field in 1913, making it the oldest on-campus stadium in NCAA Division I-A. It was later renamed the Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field.
The field has hosted Tech games, Falcons games, Peach Bowls – and even Jimmy Buffet. Learn about key moments in its history – and be sure to cheer for Tech against Mississippi in the Music City Bowl Dec. 30!
