In 2010, I viewed the fascinating exhibition at the High Museum on Salvador Dali, who was criticized for the commercialism of his work in an era when art and commerce did not so comfortably co-exist.
Now, just across the street, the Museum of Design (MODA) presents AIGA100: A Century of Design, an exhibition devoted to the power and nuance that art can bring to commerce and culture.
View work by designers that include Paul Rand, Milton Glaser and Saul Bass in this little gem of a museum on Peachtree Street in Midtown. On view through Oct. 5; admission is $10.
