What to know about Inauguration Day

On Jan. 20, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will take oaths of office to become the President and Vice President of the United States, respectively. At a time of unprecedented crisis due to COVID-19, and following the recent attack on the Capitol, officials are asking Americans to stay home and watch virtually via TV broadcasts and live streams.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol at noon followed by an inaugural address. In-person attendance will be limited to Congress. Additional details are available at BidenInaugural.org or @BidenInaugural on Twitter and Instagram.
