This weekend, we lost a legend and powerhouse in our country with the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Throughout her life, she constantly broke through glass ceilings and was always an advocate for women’s reproductive rights, sexism in education and gender equality.

Because of Ginsburg, we as women have the right to sign a mortgage without a man, the right to have a bank account without a male co-signer and the right to have a job without being discriminated based on gender, just to name a few.

Against long odds, she became a revolutionary and her legacy will live on.
