We’re obsessed with Big Softie, the new soft-serve shop in Summerhill. The vanilla is creamy, delicious and hugs the cone. Add metallic sprinkles, and I’m hooked.
The shop reminds me of my summer working at a New Jersey lake, and the ice cream trailer – a new amenity I was tasked with operating. There’s an art to it – everything from making the soft serve and knowing how to twirl a cone, to crafting sundaes and mastering the chocolate shell.
For our team, it conjures memories of comfort, family and special childhood moments. Who knew we’d all connect over a cone?
