Uber drivers can now add ‘retailer’ to their many hats

If I had a dollar for every time I forgot my headphones on my way to the airport, I could finally go on that luxe vacation I’ve always had my eye on. That’s why when I stepped into my Uber and noticed the Cargo vending machine, I freaked out.

Cargo is a small unit that fits on the console and is filled with snacks, gum, small electronics and everyday items like Ibuprofen and beauty products. Riders can download the app and purchase items straight from their phones – really, it’s that easy. Even better? It’s completely free for drivers to carry.
