Liven up the cold, dreary days of January with some of Atlanta’s varied theater productions. Continuing its 40th anniversary season, Theatrical Outfit presents The Unexpected Play Reading Festival Jan. 21-22, featuring script readings of four different plays.
Head under the sea with Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder and the evil Ursula in a production of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” at the Fox Theatre Jan. 12-15.
For a “cheeky” production with a much lower costume budget, check out the national tour of the off-Broadway musical “Naked Boys Singing” at 7 Stages Theatre through Jan. 22. Warning: play is aptly named.
