The puppies of Old Fourth Ward need not fear, for “Freedom Barkway” is almost here! Freedom Barkway is a proposed off-leash dog park at Freedom Parkway and Boulevard, which will host a grand opening on March 21.
Four neighborhood associations representing O4W got together and decided to do something about the lack of park space for their pups to run free. The bark park is located next to the Freedom Parkway Trail, PATH and the BeltLine, as well as high-density housing and has already raised approximately $75,000. Interested in helping?
