Atlantans can give back to community charities in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an iconic civil rights activist who left a permanent mark on the world. Every year we take a day off to celebrate his legacy, and many use the full weekend to give back to their community – just as Dr. King would encourage.

• Assist with food distribution at the Feeding GA Families drive-up pantry.

• Make a difference as a volunteer at Hosea Helps. If you’re unable to donate your time, the organization is always accepting food and blankets for those in need.

• Help Braves Food Distribution distribute fresh produce and Chick-fil-A to local Atlanta families.
