Have you seen the video Atlanta, Abandoned from writer and producer Brent Dey? It’s been all over my social feed the past day and I am mesmerized. It’s an eerie look at our shut-down city through its most recognizable streets, tourist attractions, highways and byways, featuring notable murals and public art.
During a time of rest and reset for an Atlanta on pause, it evoked so much emotion when I watched. So many feelings, and even tears. A longing to get back at it. A pride to see everyone safe at home. And a hope that we emerge stronger, together.
