Socializing from a distance

by The 100 Companies

As social distancing has become the new normal worldwide, we’ve all had to find new ways to connect with loved ones. For a while, I had been visiting my family at least every other weekend. Now, I’m on day 35 of quarantine in my apartment.

In an effort to bridge the gap, they’ve driven to Atlanta for brief visits to bring supplies, deliver Easter dinner and chat, all outside from a safe 6 feet away. While the distance between us is hard – I miss being able to hug my parents – these moments of connection have become highlights of my week.
