Explore the Atlanta History Center’s newly reopened Entrance Gardens featuring 15,000 perennials during History After Hours on Sept. 24 from 5-8PM. The outdoor event offers a perfect opportunity to experience first-hand the New Perennial Movement, which uses a range of herbaceous perennials and grasses to redefine traditional gardens, offering a naturalistic aesthetic.
Guests will also mingle with the horticulture experts that maintain the 33-acre Goizueta Gardens, and are invited indoors for a first look at the new “Atlanta ’96: Shaping an Olympic and Paralympic City” exhibition. Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members, with a complimentary drink ticket.
