Say goodbye to summer during the annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival. Held Aug. 24-25, the beloved festival returns for the 17th year offering live music, food trucks, an artist market, fun activities for the kids and a 5k Run for the Park on Saturday morning.
The weekend is more than just a good time, with proceeds going toward the nonprofit Grant Park Conservancy, an organization with a mission to restore, renovate and maintain Grant Park. Bring friends and family to enjoy the festivities from 10AM to 10PM on Saturday and from 11AM to 7:30PM on Sunday.
