Now that summer is in full swing, the University System of Georgia (and its 26 institutions) is planning ahead and preparing for the fall semester and what that would look like amid COVID-19.
Currently, it looks like all schools are planning to return for in-person classes beginning in August, with contingency plans in place. However, as of July 15, all faculty, staff, students and visitors will be required to wear appropriate face coverings inside campus buildings and maintain social distancing where possible.
Although schools will reopen, some faculty members may still opt to take classes online rather than in person.
