Warrior2Citizen Fights Divorce

by admin

Our military faces obstacles on the battlefield and upon returning home. Statistics indicate 62 percent of veterans’ first marriages end in divorce, which increases to 80 percent after two deployments.

Atlanta-based Warrior2Citizen responded by starting the Home Life Transition Program. Every year since 2012, the nonprofit has hosted 30 military couples at an intensive four-day retreat, followed by six months of marriage counseling.

To support this program, Brookwell Capital Group is sponsoring a free fundraising luncheon on September 15 at the Blue Ridge Grill. Space is limited; RSVP to Billy Lovett by September 11. Donations can also be made online.
