The iconic contraptions, imaginative illustrations and storytelling of Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist and inventor Rube Goldberg are coming to the Children’s Museum of Atlanta in the new interactive exhibit, Rube Goldberg: The World of Hilarious Invention!

Including 3D, life-size machines and hands-on, interactive components, pint-sized guests can play and create crazy inventions using ordinary objects to complete easy tasks in the most hilarious way possible. The exhibit connects Goldberg’s contraptions to the way things work in the physical world, providing classic engineering principles and exploring STEAM concepts for 21st-century learning.

The traveling exhibit opens Sept. 18 and will run through Jan. 2.
