In unsurprising news, a new survey from Village Green found renters are becoming more amenity-driven, especially if those amenities make residences feel like true homes. Other findings include 58 percent of renters read reviews of communities and 65 percent use renting websites to research properties before visiting communities.
The top three amenities uncovered by the survey specific to Atlanta were “homey” look and feel, communities that fit the renter’s lifestyle and high-end property amenities, like upgraded kitchen and hardwood floors.
Also noteworthy, millennials aren’t killing, but rather are willing to spend more for properties with smart-home technologies.
