Target unveiled plans to revamp more than 600 stores over three years. The megabrand expects the remodeled stores to see a 2-4 percent sales bump.
Revel’s Kristi Rooks thinks Target’s success will be in its flexibility. “Everyone’s trying to figure out how to pull in millennials and adapt to an ever-changing retail environment,” she said. “A smaller footprint allows for flexibility and the opportunity to design and merchandise stores geared more toward each specific market.”
Kristi knows many will be watching this redesign closely, and thinks it’ll go a long way with shoppers wanting a more customized experience.
