Starbucks: 12,000 New Stores in 5 Years

by The 100 Companies

Last week, Starbucks released a five-year growth plan, which mentioned opening more stores, including high-end coffee shops.

“I think Starbucks will reach its growth plan because it considers itself in the business of human connection, and its stores are a destination,” said S.J. Collins’ Jeff Garrison, who recently announced a Starbucks in his Peachtree Station development. “Whether you’re running in to grab a latte or meeting friends to catch up, Starbucks makes getting coffee convenient.”

Retail is constantly evolving. With its app, Reserve, and focus on food offerings, Starbucks plans to stay America’s first choice for caffeine.
