Do you live in “the suburbs” or “in-town?” Do you even care? At a recent ULI Atlanta forum, we learned that the very notion of a “suburb” is in flux.
Whether in traditionally suburban areas or in densifying in-town neighborhoods, Atlanta’s renters and buyers look for walkability, amenities and smarter buildings, which may come in the form of single-family homes, high rises or somewhere in between.
While some suburban areas, such as Perimeter Center, may become classified as urban soon, the panel concluded quality features and amenities were important no matter where the project was. Read more.
