Metro Atlanta’s Johns Creek named ‘Best Places to Live’ in the U.S.

Johns Creek, one of metro Atlanta’s northern suburbs, has been named the No. 1 “Best Places to Live” in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

The 2025-2026 study evaluated over 850 cities to rank the top 250, based on value, desirability, job market and quality of life. With a population of 78,937, Johns Creek was highlighted for its top-rated schools, ample parks and outdoor recreation activities, and high value of living. Johns Creek has also previously been named the safest place to live in the country.

Alpharetta, Roswell, Dalton and Warner Robins also ranked in the list’s top 250.
