Majestic Realty Co., Carter and Mayor Kasim Reed announced the approval of a master-planned development at Hartsfield-Jackson on Tuesday.
The development will include an 11-story, 440-room InterContinental Hotel on the west economy lot. Hotel guests will have direct access to the domestic terminal via a new plaza. Plans also include 80,000 square feet of conference space and 60,000 square feet of Class A office space.
Stan Conway, Majestic executive VP, also announced plans for two additional hotels as part of the Phase II development. Total cost of both phases will be nearly $400 million.
