Each year, the NAIOP Georgia Future Leaders has the opportunity to tour another city and learn about its unique opportunities and challenges. This year we flew to Austin.
The group spans different areas of the commercial real estate industry, but we were all interested to learn about this city with the third least frustrating airport and the most start-up activity.
From touring a Cousins Properties building – Colorado Tower – and seeing how bathrooms and amenities can make an office tower, to hearing about the importance of being flexible with industrial tenants, we all learned a lot and became closer friends.
