According to the American Heart Association, one in three American kids is overweight or obese. One way to fight this epidemic is to create better habits in youth, but where does one begin?
Livable Buckhead Executive Director Denise Starling thinks we start by activating dead spaces. By creating spaces like the new PATH400, which will eventually connect to the BeltLine and Silver Comet Trail, we create walkable environments that could entice families to get out of the house.
