Dogs, a good cause, food, contests and live music. What could be better?
The Gwinnett Humane Society and the City of Lilburn are gearing up for PAWfest 2015. The event is May 16, from 10-4 at Lilburn City Park. The event will include kids’ activities, Frisbee and trick demos, silent auction, dog contests, a 3.5-mile Pack Hike and 1-mile Puppy Pack Hike (at 9:30) and even an animal wellness clinic.
The event commemorates “Be Kind To Animals” week and aims to promote awareness on pet-related issues. Admission for humans and four-legged-friends is free, with the exception of the Pack Hikes.
