After serving 56 years in the Westview neighborhood, Historic Fire Station #17 closed its doors in 1976, due to budget cuts. The story of the building is one with many twists and turns, which includes reopening as transitional housing for women with children and closing again in 2014, but its story isn’t over yet.
Vantage Realty is working with neighbors along the BeltLine to transform the station into a public space, such as a restaurant or loft-style offices. Want to be a part of the story? Click here to take the survey and help in the revitalization of the neighborhood.
